Emergency & Resilience 2024–2025

Emergency & Resilience Plan

This plan has been drawn up by Deddington Parish Council so that, in the event of an emergency in Deddington, Hempton or Clifton, parishioners should have a clear idea of whom to contact and where to go. The plan details the roles of the various emergency services and support agencies.

The type of event which could trigger a local emergency include flooding, severe storms, drought, extreme heat, a major fire, explosion, gas leak, a pollution incident, a pandemic health threat, contamination of food or water supply or threat of terrorist attack – any of which might necessitate a localised or large-scale evacuation. Heavy snow is perhaps the most likely possibility, hence the separate Winter Plan. The full Emergency & Resilience Plan 2024–25 is here.

A comprehensive list of emergency contact details is here.
